Despite its unorthodox name, Dungeonmans is one of the best PC games of the year. With its dungeons and treasure, town in need, and six different class archetypes, the game is more than just your average action RPG. Unlike some other games of this genre, it actually manages to meet expectations and mock fantasy tropes in an enjoyable way. However, if you're looking for a different kind of action RPG, look elsewhere.
The core gameplay of Dungeonmans revolves around exploration and combat in a procedurally generated world. The combat is turn-based, and your heroes can use Skills to improve their abilities. As a melee fighter, you can crush enemies with cones or crush them with sashes. There are several skills available to help you defeat the various enemies, and you can earn them through leveling up. It is possible to use a range of different weapons and combinations of them to defeat your foes.
